Tecnologia per a la transformació social_

Colectic is a non-profit cooperative project that works for the inclusion, autonomy and empowerment of people and communities in the social, labor and technological fields; understanding and using technology as a tool for participation and social transformation.

We work in a network to develop spaces, tools and projects that promote processes of emancipation, employment and training of people. And we do so from a critical, conscious and participatory perspective; involving citizens in the improvement and construction of the neighborhood and its environment.

We understand technology as a facilitating and enabling tool for the autonomy of people; that is why we work to promote universal access to ICTs by training and accompanying social groups and organizations and the social and solidarity economy. At Colectic we consider that the current technological model is privative and governed by capitalist logic. That is why we are committed to a creative citizenry and not just a consumer of technology, capable of responding to their own needs and motivations. In this sense, we promote the use of free software and hardware; because technology must be a guaranteed and non-exclusive common good in the knowledge society.

We place our activity within the framework of the solidarity economy; an economic model governed by the values of autonomy, equality, horizontality, social impact, respect for the environment, relationship with the environment, cooperation and assemblyism. We believe in an economy that puts people at the center.
